American River Raft Rental Prices & Fees

River Rat Pricing Includes: Raft, life jackets and paddles.

Raft Launch Fee

$2.50 additional fee per raft. Fee goes directly to the Sacramento County Parks for use of the American River Parkway.

Damage Waiver (optional)

$2.00 per raft

Waiver will cover up to $100.00 of accidental damage to raft. Waiver will not cover lost, stolen or broken equipment.

Shuttle Service
The shuttle service offers you a ride back to River Rat Raft Rental.

$4.00 per person

SHUTTLE TIMES :

Midweek: 2:00pm - 6:00pm on the hour

Weekends: 1:00pm - 6:00 pm every 30 minutes

Raft Season:
On the Lower American River: April - October, weather and water permitting.

Group Rates:

We proudly offer midweek group discounted rates for 25 people or more, 10% off raft rental rates.
We proudly offer weekend group discounted rates for 50 people or more, 10% off raft rental rates.
Sorry, discounts are not valid during Holiday periods.

Please Note:

Customers must arrive and rent raft equipment before 11:30 am.
All time restrictions are subject to change due to weather and water conditions.
Shuttle times are subject to change.

Participant must be age 5 years or older and know how to swim.
No pets allowed.

Reservation Information

Reservations are highly recommended for Lower American River raft rentals. A credit card number is required to make a reservation.

Payment: The day of the customer must have a valid drivers license and credit card in the same name. The credit card must be able to authorize for a minimum $250 deposit for the use of the equipment.

Cancellation Policy: All cancellations placed within 3 days of reserved day will be charged 25% of raft rental amount. The 4th of July reservations need to be cancelled at least 14 days prior in order not to incur 100% of the raft rental amount.

Please note: On the 4th of July, add $10.00 per raft rental fee.
